Painted Bathroom Wall Cladding

Painted glass is becoming ever more popular as a medium for bathroom wall cladding. Painted glass panels are widely used within the whole bathroom, particularly within the high splash areas of showers and baths.

Glass, being a waterproof material, is a perfect replacement for the traditional tiles. All joints can be silicone sealed making the area impervious to water. With less joints and grouting than tiles, along with glass’ own non-porous and stain resistant properties, it is the perfect material for cleanliness and hygiene.

GGP Glass can provide a supply only or a full measure and installation service for its glass panels.

GGP Glass’ wall panels are usually produced in 6mm toughened glass, but depending on the project can be produced in glass up to 19mm thick.

With our full CNC manufacturing department, holes or cut-outs can easily be incorporated. Shaped panels to add decorative designs or to incorporate awkward room designs can normally be accommodated.

GGP Glass can offer a wide range of colours for its wall panels. Almost any colour can be specified. GGP Glass' team of experts can match most colours whether it be RAL, Dulux or another. We can produce a sample for you to approve for a small charge. The charge is refunded once the order is placed.

Our preferred method of installation is by adhesion to a prepared wall using our selected adhesive providing a seamless finish. They can, however, be drilled and mechanically fixed to the wall, allowing them to be removed if access is required. When fitting glass splashbacks or panels with a high degree of translucency the wall should be pre-painted to a suitable colour to eliminate 'show through.'
